On Saturday 24 May 2014, more than four dozen national and international experts gathered to discuss and practice new technologies in reconstructive knee surgery (knee replacement).
There were 16 professionals participating, with presentations related to the above topic.
The possibility to experiment with new materials and new technologies, was an advantage that added additional value to the practical exercise. Those present were also able to participate in live surgery.
The Team of Orthopaedic Surgeons of the Group HPA are at the moment leaders in the application of this new surgical technique. By using tailor-made prosthesis for each patient, better results are obtained, both surgically and functionally.
